Match your firelighter to the barbecue, fuel and frequency of use. Compare a single sheet with larger packs and choose the supply that fits your home or retail range.
Our paraffin firelighter cubes help start an appropriate fuel bed when the product label and barbecue manual allow their use. They are not the main cooking fuel. Prepare a stable outdoor position, dry suitable charcoal or briquettes and the air spaces required by the appliance. Choose the permitted dose from the label before lighting.
A 40-cube sheet is a compact option for occasional sessions, while 80 or 200 cubes provide a larger supply. The 180-cube tube offers a different storage shape. Compare the actual dimensions as well as the number of cubes. Keep the original pack and buy only what you can store under the stated conditions.

Wait until the firelighter has burned out completely and the fuel and grate have reached the conditions required for cooking. A flame alone does not indicate readiness. Do not add firelighter or lighting liquids to flames or embers. Our guides cover preparation, fuel choice and the signs to check before food goes on the grill.
No. The cube count is the amount purchased. Use the dose and method stated on the current label and allowed by the barbecue manual.
Guides
A reliable start begins before you strike a match. Prepare the location, fuel and airflow, then follow the instructions for your barbecue and firelighter. The aim is a suitable bed of embers, not simply a large flame.
Read guide ↗The right fuel depends on your grill and what you want to cook. Compare the instructions, fuel format and cooking method rather than assuming that one option is always faster or better.
Read guide ↗A visible flame does not mean the barbecue is ready to cook. Separate three checks: the firelighter has finished burning, the fuel is ready, and the grate has reached the heat required for your food.
