40 firelighter cubes
One sheet, 40 cubes. A compact pack for home supplies and retail sale.

Choose a firelighter that matches your fireplace instructions and a pack that fits your storage space. Compare sheets and the tube before planning an occasional or regular supply.
Confirm that the fireplace manual permits this type of firelighter and that the label includes the intended application. Follow the prescribed wood load and lighting method. A fireplace insert may have different requirements from an open fireplace or stove. If documentation is unclear, confirm suitability with the appliance manufacturer before use.
The 40-, 80- and 200-cube packs contain sheets with scored cube divisions. The tube holds 180 cubes in a different package shape. Choose according to use and the place where the original labelled pack will be stored. A larger supply never changes the permitted dose for a single lighting.

Keep fuel dry and suitable for the appliance. Follow the approved layout and start-up air settings. Never add firelighter to a burning or glowing load. Smoke entering the room is a reason to stop use and arrange inspection, not increase the dose. Our guides explain preparation, moisture checks and when a top-down method is appropriate.
Its shape does not override storage instructions. Keep the original pack in a suitable place away from heat and outside the appliance’s required clearances.
Guides
A good start in a wood-burning fireplace depends on the appliance, fuel and installation. Use this preparation sequence with the manual for your particular model. It cannot confirm that a chimney or appliance is safe to operate.
Read guide ↗Top-down lighting places the initial flame above the main wood load. It can be a specified method for some appliances, but it is not a universal instruction for every fireplace, stove or boiler.
Read guide ↗Wood that looks dry on the outside may still be unsuitable for your appliance. Check its source, storage and measured moisture before lighting. Extra firelighter is not a substitute for preparing the right fuel.
