Firelighters for wood-burning stoves
Choose firelighter cubes to suit your stove, its fuel and your regular use. Check the product label and the appliance instructions before choosing a pack.
Start with the type of stove
A freestanding wood stove, fireplace insert and boiler may use different start-up methods. Choose our firelighters only when their intended use and application agree with your appliance documentation. They are not a substitute for a gas ignition system or an automatic igniter. If you are unsure, have the model name and the relevant manual passage ready when asking for advice.
A small reserve or a regular supply?
For occasional use, compare the 40- and 80-cube packs. For regular use, consider five sheets in the 200-cube pack or the 180-cube tube. Check both the contents and the space available for storing the opened pack. Cube count describes stock; it does not state the dose or number of fires.
